Our club, the Airedale Terrier Club of Metropolitan Washington, DC, Inc., held its thirty-third annualSpecialty Show on April 18, 2003, in conjunction with the Columbia Terrier Association. As most of you know this show is part of the famous Cherry Blossom Circuit. The day started out with light rain and temperatures in the low 40’s.  However, since our show was inside, the weather was not a handicap.

Our thanks go to judges, Dianna Fielder and Karen Wilson, who both did an outstanding job.

Our thanks to all the ATCMW club members who worked hard to make this an outstanding Specialty.  Starting with Jim McDermott, who provided the coffee and donuts before and during the show;. to Bill Russell for setting up all the Trophies;  to the Chief Steward, Diane Marvinney who was assisted by Jo Ellen Arnold, a friend of the club;  to Marie Hammond, Nancy Delea, Jean Harne, and Jeanne Esmond for their efforts with the luncheon after the Judging; and to Linda Dart, the CTA Obedience Chair, who ran the obedience rings, assisted by Lynn Darnell, Pat Erwin, Malcolm Grahm, Pam McKusick, Kathy Pickard, and Sarah Slater. Unfortunately this year, no Airedales were entered in Obedience Trials.
